Realtor safety seminar
The Yuma Association of Realtors and local real estate brokers are bringing a realtor safety seminar to Yuma. The class, which will be free to local real estate agents, will be from 2 to 5 p.m. July 16 at the Yuma Civic Center.
The presenter will be Andrew Wooten, president of Safety Awareness Firearms Education (S.A.F.E.) who has been in the safety and security industry for the past 24 years and created Crime Awareness Prevention Seminars (C.A.P.S.).
This course is designed specifically for real estate professionals, who will learn how to conduct a background check on a potential buyer/renter; ways to keep themselves, their customers and customers personal information' safe during an open house; identify the elements of identity theft and show their customers how not be to victimized; steps to take should they or their client become a victim; the key factors to remaining safe at home; steps to take if being stalked; and how to make someone let go of you under threat.

Short sales seminar
Realty Executives is bringing a seminar to Yuma that will include mastering short sales in the Arizona Market and supporting buyers in a short sale transaction.

This two-day combination course is designed to assist real estate agents
