Kammann joins forces with Coldwell Banker Crimson Sky Realty
Effective Nov. 8, Coldwell Banker Crimson Sky Realty will be the designated broker for three Kammann Development residential projects.
In an agreement announced this week, the agency's real estate agents will be marketing Livingston Ranch, Sierra Montana and La Quinta at Barkley Ranch.
Broken Arrow will continue to market Citrus Springs subdivision and Tuscany Plaza, a professional complex being developed at Avenue B and 28th Street. However, Coldwell Banker agents will get a co-commission for sales in those projects.
Home builder Bobby Kammann said he feels there will be several advantages to the agreement with Coldwell Banker Crimson Sky Realty.
One is the known national brand name of Coldwell Banker, he said.
On the local level, he said, the agency is an established and respected name with a number of well-trained people. "I feel they will sell more homes for us."
"That will definitely happen," promised Broker Katie Calvet.
"We're excited about this," she said, explaining that the agreement adds new developments, those of a local builder with a reputation for quality homes, to the agency's portfolio.
"We want to show people how they can get a Kammann home," she said, "let them know that Kammann homes are available and affordable."
Calvet said the agency, which has offices in Yuma and the Foothills, has a sales staff of 25 and is still adding agents. In particular, she is seeking new home specialists who will be at the model homes for the three developments.
Added Sandy Baas, who will act as project manager for the Kammann properties, the agency's large sales staff represents a lot of potential buyers. "They bring a lot of buyers to the market."
Said Kammann: "We're making deals. Bring us an offer."
Kammann got into the home building business 30 years ago with a small townhouse project and quickly established a reputation for not skimping on quality.
Nine years ago, he went into partnership with Robby Barkley and began developing Barkley Ranch at 32nd Street and Avenue C 1/2. The last home in that project recently sold.
However, 22 lots remain available in the nearby La Quinta Villas project, he said.
"There's a lot of choices there," he said. People own their lot and unit. The free-standing villas range from 1,702 to 2,270 square feet and offer an array of options. Residents share such amenities as the clubhouse and pool.
Livingston Ranch is a new project at Avenue C and 36th Street with 250 lots and 25 gated estate lots.
"We have a lot of nice floor plans," Kammann said. Prices range from $249,000 to $430,000.
Sierra Montana is a 220-lot subdivision at Avenue 8E and 36th Street near the Foothills Wal-Mart. He's just dropped the prices on the custom and semi-custom homes he's offering there with such energy-saving features as dual-pane low heat windows and Trane air conditioners.
Coldwell Banker Crimson Sky Realtor offices are at 1590 S. 2nd Ave. in Yuma and 11361 S. Foothills Blvd., Suite 1, in the Foothills. For more information, call Calvet at 246-9165 or Baas at 941-2388.
